So over the weekend we did a liquid detox. We had some tomato sauce left over and so I decided I would make Spaghetti Squash.
Who knew that a squash could cost you $10?
Of course I didn’t realize that till AFTER I bought it. So Matt better en-fricken-joy.
This morning Matt and I weighed in. We set goals to reach by my birthday which is Oct 24th so we still have 3 weeks. Well I am happy to announce we are SO close.
Sherese- 3.8lbs from goal weight (2.8%)
Matt 7.6lbs from goal wight (3.85%)
1lb ground turkey
16oz tomato sauce
1 can original Ro*Tel
1 small can sliced mushrooms
2 T artichoke bruschetta
2 T red pepper bruschetta
Feta cheese & Olives (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 and cut squash in 1/2 lengthwise. Remove seeds. Roast until tender (about 30 mins).
While squash is roasting. Brown ground turkey in skillet. Then add in the remaining items except for squash.
Once squash is tender, pull out flesh/stringy pulp using large spoon. It will come out stringy much like spaghetti noodles.
Serve noodles and add desired sauce amount. Enjoy!
