So Annie and I went to Richmond Virginia and she showed me around. We went to an area call Carytown. I loved it because it was the first day that I got to spend all day with Annie and we had a blast (or at least I did).
We went to a few of the shops there that were fun!
Did someone call the love doctor? I (heart) Bacon.
So here are some books I want if anyone needs ideas of what to get me for Christmas (hint hint mom!) I will even do the hard work for you
Finish This Book– Your mission is to become the new author of this work. You will continue the research and provide the content. In order to complete the task, you will have to undergo some secret intelligence training, which is included in this volume. Since no one knows what lies ahead, please proceed with caution, but know…this book does not exist without you.
How to be an Explorer of the World -To document and observe the world around you. As if you’ve never seen it before. Take notes. Collect things you find on your travels. Document findings. Notice patterns. Copy. Trace. Focus on one thing at a time. Record what you are drawn to.
My inspiration finds for the day:
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Life the life you’ve imagined.”
“Make yourself proud.”
Insist on yourself. Never Imitate.”
“Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.”
“Dance, Love, Sing, Live”
“Life is a journey not a destination.”
“All know the way but few actually walk it”
We had lunch at New York Deli
Annie’s lunch- The Reuben
Mine- Quesadilla Loesada (cheese, onions, peppers, black beans, tomatoes)
My day wouldn’t have been complete without ice cream so we went to Bevs. I promise that ice cream cravings are not to be taken lightly.
Live, Love, Ice Cream
I had the Texi Cali chocolate- (chocolate, cinnamon, cayenne pepper) and the Espresso Oreo… All I can say is- More please!!!
I ended the day by hanging out with the kids by talking about our love for bacon, reading, showing secret handshakes, playing Sorry! and Battleship, more ice cream, hugs and having a 7 year old come up to me before he heads to bed and he whispers (BFF) in my ear 😉 Perfect ending to a great day.
