Matt and I spent a few days with my family before we took off to our new home. We had no idea where we were going to live or how we were going to do it. From the time I got the offer I had 10 days till I started work so we didn’t have much time to do everything.
My parents had kept my cat for the 9 months that I was on the road. They had kept Roxy for almost 2 months. They were incredibly supportive of us and the move. They helped us load up a trailer with some belongings. It is times like this that I want to write down because when I have a bad day, I want to look back and remember how truly blessed I am to have such a great family, friends, and life.
Cali was my dream and it came true. Plus, I didn’t have to go alone. I get to take with me someone who treats me the best I have ever been treated. So here I am, on the journey of life. I couldn’t even imagine a year ago that this is where I would be today but here I am… Happy. It is funny how things work out. I am so grateful.
I even got to cross off another state on the bucket list. Nice to have met you Utah.
