Getting Caught Up

I know I know… I haven’t posted on here in some time. Some of you might think I went MIA in Colombia which isn’t the case at all. I got caught up in life and got a bit busy. It is time that I made time for the whole blogging thing again because I am sure many of you are wondering what all is going on.

I am back from Colombia. I made it home safe without any issues at all. For anyone that thinks Colombia is scary, it isn’t. Just go and enjoy because not only is it pretty, the people are amazing as well.

When I got back I had a beautiful wedding to go to. One of my closest friends Amber got married on March 1st in Fort Worth at a winery. So beautiful. I call them “my little family” and don’t mistaken that because they have HUGE hearts with lots of love. Here are some pictures taken with my phone:

The next morning I got up and met Tricia and we drove to Austin to do a race called Hero’s Rush. It was a 4 mile obstacle run that supports firefighters (which is near and dear to my heart). It was a blast but the water we went through was SO SO SO cold.

I got to spend the weekend in Austin which is a place I would LOVE to live. We went out and roasted s’mores at a bar, how could you not love a place like that? Sunday we went to a kite festival. I didn’t know there was such a thing but it was SO pretty to see all the kites in the sky. Fun Fun.

When I got back to Dallas, I got to spend time with another family that I love. You may remember them from the blog post Baby Steps.

Tomorrow I am off on another adventure down south. I can’t really say much about it now but this weekend should be a fun one and hopefully new news will be on the way that I can share with ya’ll (don’t make fun of me I am in Texas) very soon.

I am so glad to be back, ohh how I have missed you blog!
