Back in Maryland…With Matt
Yesterday I left Kansas and came back to Maryland. I stopped and had a bacon maple donut with my sister Kim. She is always so fun. She refused to eat a donut because my mom and her had tried on this dress and mom was thinner. Kim wasn’t having it. I will probably get beat up for posting this picture but it is SO worth it!

The Bacon Maple Donut has been visited a few times. You can see the original visit here.
I made sure before I left to make some artwork on the chalk wall showing my love for Kim. She started this a few years ago when we went to the beach together.
I went to small town Kansas airport where they have 1 commercial flight with American Airlines. It was a fun experience. My layover was in Dallas. I have been to DFW a number of times but NEVER to switch planes. It didn’t feel right being so close to many of my friends and not getting to see them.
I made it to Maryland and I am sure they are excited to have me back seeing as how the bad weather follows me everywhere. Today it is raining. It is better than the cold I left behind in Kansas. Plus, I am REALLY excited to be back with Matt.
This morning Matt dropped me off at the coffee shop and he headed to the gym.
By 11 am I had 3 contacts for jobs (two in Cali one in Texas). I looked up stats on the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the average length for someone to look for a job is 21.4 weeks. BLS It has been a ride of ups and downs but I am confident about finding a new place to call home soon.
